Native Birds

Walt: make connections across multiple texts.

Task Description: This week we have been learning about endemic, introduced and native. But all of these birds are native. Last week we were learning about native trees so it hasn't changed that much.

It is me again. I never knew that a banded rail bird even existed let alone be a native bird to New Zealand. Did you know that albatross have a wingspan (tip to tip) of the royal New Zealand Albatrosses 2.9 - 3.3 meters. Are there any other birds that some people might not know?
